What You’ll Do

  • Providing tax advisory services to clients across a diverse range of industries with respect to Maltese tax implications and international tax developments;
  • Liaising with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration on questions of interpretation;
  • Working closely with other departments and professional advisors to provide a comprehensive tax consulting service;
  • Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation;
  • Preparing and reviewing tax computations;
  • Reviewing tax returns;
  • Reviewing of tax refund and Shareholder registration forms;
  • Train and mentor junior team members;
  •  Preparing and reviewing tax due diligence assignments;
  • Identify opportunities for new business and contribute to the development of business initiatives; and
  • Assisting with and reviewing of publications. 


What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience;
  • Masters in Accountancy or fully ACCA-qualified or in the very last stage of being fully qualified;
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team; 
  • Organisational skills and have an eye for detail;
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn;
  • Able to work with strict deadlines;
  • Fluent in English with advanced written and verbal communication ability; and
  • Strong ability to delegate, manage and review work of the tax team.
