What You’ll Do 

The IT Systems Administrator will maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure to support seamless operations, strategic business needs, and compliance with global and quality standards. 

  • Install, configure and maintain servers, hardware, software and network systems.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and cloud storage platforms
  • Ensure compliance with BDO global standards and ISO-quality requirements.
  • Repair, maintain and replace IT equipment as needed
  • Evaluate, pilot and implement new technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior management to prioritise IT initiatives.
  • Identify and improve processes to boost efficiency.
  • Manage IT asset procurement across the organisation.
  • Plan, prioritise and manage time to ensure timely task delivery.
  • Solve problems and make decisions quickly in a busy technical environment
  • Assist with additional IT Projects and tasks as needed.

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Diploma in IT or equivalent certification (MQF L5 or higher).
  • At least two years' experience working in a mixed systems environment.
  • Relevant IT Certifications (MCSA/MCSE/MCSD) will be considered an asset. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems, hardware, databases, networking, firewalls and telephony.
  • Ability to support virtual (VMware) and cloud (Azure) environments.
  • Proficient in storge management, backup solutions and data replication.
  • Familiarity with end point protection, encryption, DLP and security infrastructure.
  • Experience with helpdesk and asset management systems.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to Collaborate and interact with stakeholders
