About the Role:

The Head of Corporate Finance Advisory is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth, technical excellence, and operational performance across a multi-disciplinary advisory and outsourcing practice. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in overseeing Corporate Finance and Transaction advisory engagements (including Transaction Services, Due Diligence, Financial Modelling and Capital Raising advisory engagements), as well as CFO advisory services, ensuring exceptional client delivery, regulatory compliance, and commercial success.


Duties & Responsibilities:


Strategic & Practice Leadership

  • Lead the strategic vision, growth and operational performance of the Corporate Finance Advisory practice.
  • Oversee service line P&L, revenue growth, margin optimisation, utilisation and productivity KPIs.
  • Drive innovation, digital enablement and service‑line modernisation.
  • Strengthen market reputation through thought leadership and industry presence.


Corporate Finance & Transaction Services Leadership

  • Provide senior oversight for buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements.
  • Oversee preparation and review of IFRS/GAPSME‑compliant financial statements.
  • Lead financial modelling, scenario analysis, stress‑testing and validation of business plans and forecasts.
  • Drive high-quality deliverables including Quality of Earnings, valuations, financial risk assessments and transaction support.
  • Support clients in project evaluation and negotiations through financial analysis and interpretation.
  • Present findings to Boards, investors, lenders, regulators and executive stakeholders.


CFO Advisory & Financial Management Services

  • Supervise fractional CFO engagements for clients, including regulated financial entities.
  • Oversee development of financial and cashflow forecasts, business valuations, project feasibility and financial/business plans.
  • Support organisations in strengthening financial controls and reporting.


Client Leadership & Relationship Management

  • Lead relationship development with key clients, ensuring delivery excellence and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CEOs, CFOs, Boards and investors.
  • Identify and lead engagement opportunities, including multi-disciplinary engagements.


People & Culture Leadership

  • Lead and inspire a team of more than 20 professionals.
  • Drive capability development and technical upskilling.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring, ensuring excellence in all deliverables.


Quality & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all engagements meet professional and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee statutory reporting deliverables for regulated entities.
  • Lead implementation of quality frameworks and engagement governance.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.


What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years leading Financial Advisory, Transaction Services or Corporate Finance engagements at senior leadership level; or an experienced CFO, M&A leader with a successful track record.
  • Strong technical command of IFRS, GAPSME and international reporting standards.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA).
  • Warrant holder in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engagements and large, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strategic mindset and commercial acumen.
  • Executive communication and board‑level presentation skills.
  • Technical excellence in corporate finance, modelling and reporting.
  • Strong coaching and people development capability.
  • High integrity, sound judgement and regulatory knowledge.
