About the role 

A vacancy for the position of a semi/fully qualified Accountant has arisen within our Accountancy department. The role is an exciting opportunity for ideal candidates to get involved and build an accountant career in challenging areas, across a number of regulated industries.

 

Responsibilities include

  • Carrying out assignments in accounting and other related matters as may be required from time to time
  • Providing off-site/on-site support to clients
  • Preparing inter-company debt notes and settlement of current accounts
  • Maintaining ledgers and monthly reconciliations
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Assisting in preparation of monthly and year end accounts
  • Preparation of tax computation
  • Preparing management accounts, financial statements and posting balance sheet checklists
  • Assisting with auditor queries

 

Qualifications required

  • Fully qualified holding a University degree or equivalent, or in the final stages of obtaining the ACCA qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting environment
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team; be assertive, eye for numbers etc
  • Strong communicator and self-motivated
  • Able to work with strict deadlines
  • Completely fluent in the English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is considered an asset
