Sara Farrugia

Sara Farrugia joined BDO Malta as a fully qualified Accountant and she is currently holding the position of Direct Tax Manager. Having graduated with Masters in Accountancy in 2019, Sara has gained experience working in the field of taxation over the past few years, specialising mainly in direct taxation of corporate entities, trusts, foundations and shipping companies, amongst other industries.

Sara now assists BDO Malta’s tax team and is responsible to attend to client’s tax-related matters, both from a compliance and an advisory perspective, whilst ensuring that the client’s expectations are met.

Sara is also a Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and Malta Institute of Taxation.
