Dr. Larkin Magro

Larkin Magro is a warranted advocate with a solid foundation in commercial, civil, and international law. He holds a Master of Advocacy and an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Malta. His early legal experience includes substantive work within the public sector, where he gained practical exposure to asylum law, tribunal procedures, and policy development, as well as focused training in civil matters during his legal practicum.

In earlier roles, Larkin worked extensively on commercial agreements, regulatory and GDPR-related matters, and EU and international law issues, developing a strong analytical and solutions-oriented approach. In his current position within BDO Malta’s legal team, he continues to support a broad range of legal and regulatory matters, contributing to client-facing work and internal advisory needs while expanding his professional capabilities across multiple practice areas.

Beyond his professional practice, he has held leadership positions within student legal organisations, contributing to advocacy initiatives and academic projects.
