VAT Guidelines: Gambling and Online Gaming Seminar organised by BDO Malta
06 December 2017
VAT Guidelines: Gambling and Online Gaming Seminar on Monday 11th of December 14:00 PM at Peninsula Suite at Westin Dragonara Hotel.
This seminar has been accredited with 2 CPE hours.
"On the 21st November, the Maltese VAT Department announced the long anticipated changes to the VAT treatment applicable in the gaming and gambling sectors. The published guidelines remove (with effect from January 2018) the exemption from VAT on certain gaming supplies.
The seminar which will be delivered by Josef Mercieca, Tax Partner at BDO Malta will analyse the impact of the changes on operators, platform and other service providers and will discuss what will happen from both an output and input VAT point when these changes are combined with the place of supply rules, in particular for electronically supplied services. At the end of the session there will be a 30 minutes Q&A session where attendees are invited to pose any queries they may have on the changes and how these will impact the current modus operandi."
