BDO Malta to host very first Global BDO Conference
28 September 2017
BDO Malta will be hosting a Global BDO conference for the very first time this October.
The New Partners Leadership Programme "Leading Accelerated Growth In A VUCA World" will take place at the Radisson Blu, St Julians between the 3rd – 6th October.
The newly designed BDO network NPL programme will consist of a week of training by FranklinCovey, a world leader in leadership development. They excel in delivering sound and compelling content using a wealth of techniques to create great learning.
The programme will include a mixture of interventions/presentations from top BDO leaders whilst also integrating FranklinCovey messaging with BDO practices to create an impactful message. The programme is recommended to new BDO partners who need and/or want to strengthen leadership skills, particularly the ones supporting the development and growth of the business and the people of the BDO firms.
As an added bonus to the updated NPL programme, Richard Spencer, Head of Sustainability at ICAEW, will be presenting the United Nations 17 sustainable development goals and provide examples of service firms’ Corporate Social Responsibilities initiatives. This is a great opportunity for all delegates to understand the impact they and their member firm can have on the lives of others.
“It is a great time to emphasise our presence and put Malta on the map to our fellow international colleagues, especially considering that our island is experiencing significant economic growth and continues to achieve year after year excellent results in the financial services sector,” said Mark Attard, Chief Executive Officer of BDO Malta. “Apart from their week-long intensive training, we have also peppered their schedule with several activities, including dinners at top-notch restaurants as well as an exciting team building event in our capital city; this way we can really show them just how beautiful and special Malta really is!”
