Bala Venkata Ramanan Eswaran

Bala joined BDO in November 2021 as an Auditor and was promoted to Assistant Audit Manager in 2024. With over 4.5 years of audit experience at Big4 in India and Belgium, he possesses a deep understanding of both IAS (International Accounting Standards) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).  

Bala's portfolio at BDO Malta is diverse, with a special focus on Gaming and Funds. In addition to these key sectors, he has also worked with clients in various other industries, including Commercial, IT, Manufacturing, and Trading. Bala now leads an audit team under his supervisory role, leveraging his experience and knowledge. He is dedicated to progress within the audit team, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and client-centric excellence within the firm. 

Education  

Bala holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, and Corporate Law from Madras University. Additionally, he has completed several on-the-job IFRS and Global Audit Methodology (GAM) trainings. This academic background and practical expertise provide him with a well-rounded foundation for delivering high-quality audit services as an Assistant Audit Manager at BDO Malta.
